Welcome, I hope you enjoy my art.  I'm changing my introduction today and hope to change my site periodically for the sake of interest and so you can get to know me a little better.

The challenge for me in painting is to draw the viewer into the painting and stike a chord that tugs on the heart strings.   To do that I simply paint something I personally experience and that speaks to my emotions.  I wish I could tell you the story behind each painting, since I avoid subjects in a painting that offer the same old, same old subject so prevelent in todays galleries.  Art is more than painting the same "chicken" over and over again just because sells, it is more about recording life in paintings.  Subject matter will be similar, but each should be different in the artist's experience of the scene.
